Berkeley Combining book launch
On Saturday March 16th, Nora and her daughter Sahra hosted the first West-Coast book launch of Combining. With a full auditorium of engaged and inspired people, the event was a remarkable success.
The David Brower Center in downtown Bekeley hosted us for the evening, where we spent a full two hours hearing Nora read parts of Combining, taking in-depth and insightful questions from the audience and later over food and drink, had Nora sign many copies of the sought after book.
We are pleased to offer you a glimpse of this memorable experience in the below photos.
We would love to thank everyone who helped bring about this wonderful event, including Toni and Clare along with the Brower Center for hosting us.
Singapore Warm Data Lab Host Training
In February we held the first 2024 in person warm data lab host training in Singapore, hosted by the Hayaa’ Network at the Tampines Hub.
The training unfolded seamlessly, with a diverse array of participants representing various cultures and backgrounds. The richness of the week was palpable from the outset and those in the room felt the depth and potency of Warm Data from the outset.
During the week in Singapore, Nora also delivered a special Warm Data presentation to a group of International Baccalaureate (IB) school teachers and educators at the IB office in Singapore, garnering many positive responses.
The public Warm Data Lab held on the final day of the training saw a significant turnout from educators and enthusiasts alike, making it a rich and engaged week.
Growing the Warm Data contingents in Oceania has been a focus for the community, so it was fabulous to have an on-the-ground focus to ignite the region.
